Our Progress

- 📣 📣 📣 Calling all people who stutter! To create stuttering-friendly speech AI systems, AImpower.org is collecting stuttered speech data that is authentic and representative of stuttering voices. This initiative is led by people who stutter, with people who stutter, and for people who stutter – and we need YOUR support! Please share your opinions and preferences on how we can best collect, use, and govern the speech data by responding to this survey. You can also (optionally) sign up to contribute your speech — your stutter is beautiful! All responses will be anonymized, and you will have the option to receive a $10 e-commerce gift card or donate the equivalent amount to a stuttering community organization of your choice.

We were most recently featured by 36Kr — the top Chinese media covering science and technology news — in their stuttering-focused reporting “我有口口口口口口口吃,请你不要打断 (I have a sssssstutter, please do not interrupt me)”. Together, we can create more space for the stuttering voices! [Full article in Chinese]
